L5R RPG Thunder Edition

"Introducing L5R RPG Thunder Edition (or 4.5), a project I have been working on for a while now. Inspiration came from a lot of sources, like homebrew from Kaze no Shiro, my own homebrew, 5th edition (concepts), and a lot of Rob Hobart's design notes on L5R “5” edition. If anything, you might get a glimpse of what an L5R 5th edition would have looked like under AEG IMO, before the buyout. The docs include the L5R RPG Thunder Edition Core Basics, Skills, some Advantages and Disadvantages, Armor and Weapons, and two examples of Schools using the Hida School and the Mirumoto School (Magic is still a work in progress). I would like to give credit to all of those that worked on L5R RPG 4e since I used the organized info and word use from the core rule book, inserting new material as someone reads along. Enjoy. L5R RPG Thunder Edition (or 4. 5) New Update
Hello all. It has been a few months since I posted last about this homebrew project, and I wanted to give everyone an update. The current update (docs) includes the L5R RPG Thunder Edition Core Rules, Skills, Advantages and Disadvantages, Armor and Weapons, Honor, Reputation and Statue doc, Enemies of the Empire (with a few creatures that will be updated gradually), simple doc of the Families of the Great Clans, Character Creation, Magic and Invasions (includes 21 invocations of each of the four basic elements), and 7 bushi, shugenja, and courtier schools for each of the Great Clans (21 schools so far). P.S. Wanted to give a thank you to folks that gave me feedback on this project, I appreciate it. I'll be adding expansions as this homebrew advances. Please enjoy.

-With the addition of new Techniques, I went back and adjusted/traded some older techs from previous Schools. I did this to counter any “power creep' situations, smooth out some older techs, and try to be more in line with individual School themes.

Additional Notes:
-Added the Void Inversions doc in the Magic Folder.
-Dropped the Agasha Mystic School and added the Agasha Martial Mystic School to focus more on the warrior priest themes.
-A character's Composure calculation is now adjusted to Willpower x4, rather than x5 (I felt the number was too high given the minor focus of mechanics that deal Stress “damage” besides Gambits and Fear. I. e. you are not going to find any invocation that deals Stress “damage.” other than failing the Invocation Craft Roll).
-Adjusted/traded some older techs from previous Schools (to counter any “power creep” situations, smooth out some older techs, and be more in line with individual School themes).

-Lowered the amount of Composure someone gets to keep the number tracking reasonable (from Willpower x 4 to Willpower x 2). I also lowered the amount of Composure someone recovers from. Thanks to some of the folks on Reddit for that catch and insight.
-Added the sling weapon and the Slings Skill.
-Added the Languages Advantage and the Blood-Lust Disadvantage
-Rename The Great Clans folder to Factions of the Empire.
-Added the Minor Clan Alliance folder via the Factions of t he Empire folder
-Changed the Families of the Great Clans doc to Families of the Empire (to include the Minor Clan Families).
-Added the Falcon to the Enemies of the Empire doc.
