AEG is proud to announce release details for the second part of its unprecedented, free Legend of the Five Rings expansion: the Imperial Gift.


Imperial Gift 2 will be available from this June onward from your local Stronghold Store (from July onward for certain customers outside the US; please check with your local store for details), and from any game store that has ordered Celestial Edition. Featuring two complete 81-card decks, as well as other, never-before-seen cards, Imperial Gift 2 is a complete Legend of the Five Rings play experience.

Designed as a learn-to-play set, but with a keen eye toward the Celestial Edition environment, Imperial Gift 2 represents an ideal teaching tool, and is the best way to start ? or continue ? playing Legend of the Five Rings. A special edition of the Imperial Herald will ship to stores with Imperial Gift 2, featuring a pullout section containing all the rules necessary to play Legend of the Five Rings, as well as a special article on the Imperial Gift 2 itself.

And that?s not all. The next L5R Mega Game starts in October this year. With Imperial Assembly membership and Stronghold Store levels playing key roles, now is the best time to teach somebody new how to play. A single grain of rice may tip the balance as the Empire struggles for its very survival.

So go to your local game store and make sure they are ordering Celestial Edition. When your free cards arrive, take the time to introduce somebody new to the mythical, mystical world of Rokugan. The Empire needs every able hand, now more than ever.
