The Honor Victory (Theme Deck) has been announced as well. I must admit, that the entries I recieved were really wonderful. It was difficult to narrow the top four down to an ultimate winner. I decided to choose the theme deck that I felt best married the concept of story telling & deck building. As most of us know, sometimes our decks are so odd that we cannot even fathom how they would ever play out in a storyline. So, I went with the story I felt did the best at this.
4th - Jeremy Borders -Scorpion "To Do What We Must" a harrowing tale of Jimen's hunt for the "traitor" Noritoshi.
3rd - Donald Hanauer-Dragon "Star Wars Episode Legend of the V Rings" - A retelling of the oh so classic tale using the cards from the deck.
2nd-Chris Stevenson -Dragon "Divine Empress: A cycle of haiku" - A wonderful historical cycle of haiku describing all the cards in the deck.
1st - Robert Denton- Crane "The Storyteller's Deck" -a lovely juxtaposition of classic Japanese fairytales using Crane clan personalities. Overall this deck did a great job of mkaing me feel that the cards in the deck represented more than cardboard samurai.
I kolejny krejn-łom dał punkty cesarstwu.
