Nie mogło być inaczej. W tekście jest "while" a nie "until", więc po naszemu szło by z grubsza tak: "Efekty investów tego spella trwają, gdy jest podłączony do tego shugenjy".

jako, że alderac zgodnie z polityką (narzekanie jest zbanowane) skasował posta w temacie VTD



VTD total

-versatile both battle/open
-no tempo losing ->additional battle action
-4 focus value
-removing discards
-versatile card cost (actually none)
-invest with optional draw (not losing hand resources)
-shortening fate (digging for key fate cards)
-no restrictions to use (etc need monk)
-versatile target (all keywords or abilities)
-can do gamebreaking impact against shugenja deckas without any cost it just those decks dowm. (similar to without cost - you cannot use your hand this turn)
-worst thing - there is no counter for it (you can negate fear, range, destruction, bow, send home) but not this ;]
-probably it will be in 99% of competitive decks so negative effects on shugenja archetypes will not be similar to ONI vs dishonor, but just TOTAL.

+generate XXX rulings problem hard to understand even for experienced players (and a big mess in heads of new players)
+negative community experience at it force everybody to have a playset (and no expensive card should be so strong to be played in every every competitive deck)


For those who declare not to play it -it's just ignorance - because in competitive play - this card is must have as you always want to build best possible construction, and this fit any deck and is really worth playing as is overpowered. Yes it is.

It's even more powered (as more versatile than hated doomed intensions, which where in almost every single deck in 3 copies for the whole edition)
as it can change in game a lot without cost (and you can karmic it for open 1g even targeting your guy if there is no other targets)

L5R should be always a game of skill, no sigle card should break game to any archetype, as times of purity of seven thunders and irish festival gone (i hope forever)

What do I propose is to
change it to remove only target ability
The card will be still VERY STRONG and it will be played (as removing open/battle action for free (draw+additional or open)
but it will not ruin rest of the arc by its unbalanceness.

I know stores just started selling alits +heart of darkness is ahead (both products are great even without VTD)
but is better to react NOW, avoiding NPE effect than ignore rational voices and left things like they were with foodholds of madness stronghold and HUGE NPE effect.

Dear AEG you have huge history of your and your competitors design mistakes - it just happened.
The thing is to learn from previous experiences and react properly.

I don't ask for ban etc, but to retest it, check arguments against it and cut it a little to re-balance it.

So is better to admit to this small mistake and fix it than waiting for that people will use to it and threat it as normal.
It's not normal - its a problem card which will have negative impact to game experience ->and finally community.

Hope problem will vanish before this years WC in Sheffield

All those reflections cames from my >10 years L5R experience with attendance in many many major international events
+as a store owner of level 15+ store with HUGE experience with old, new, returning and leaving Players

Jak VTD da się jeszcze marudzić, bo zabieranie keywordów jest ostatnim ch...AEG...stwem to OF jest już naprawdę normalnie zbalansowaną kartą do kontrolki, która słabo się sprawdza w militarce - czego grupka maruderów z aegowego forum jakoś nie umie dostrzec.

PS: Moja prywatna opinia o VTD jest taka, że nie będzie go grała każda militarka w trzech sztukach - przynajmniej nie turniejowa, bo choć miażdży niektóre matchupy to jest zaledwie łatwa to przewinięcia, ale zupełnie nieprzydatna przeciw tym najcięższym i najpopularniejszym przeciwnikom.

OF wymaga hachimanów, które robią niezły ścisk w honorówach. Dobrze zagrany unsettling przez przeciwnika przegrywa nam grę, więc powinniśmy grać własne - kolejny ścisk. Sudden movementy i inne haki bardzo dobrze mogą ukrócić rozwinięcie OF'ów. Karta bardzo mocna, ale jest na nią odpowiedź wśród kart aktualnie granych i popularnych. VTD to z kolei karta zbyt uniwersalna, gdy w jakieś grze zdarzy się, że nie robi nic, to zawsze draw w trakcie bitwy. No i ukraca wjazd/honor na shugasach. To, że ukraca wjazd na shugasach to szanuję, troszkę easy to play, ale rykoszetem oberwało się honorowi shugasowemi co jest mało śmieszne 

Ludzie nakupują tego masę i wejdzie nerf - przynajmniej ja na to liczę.

blokujesz w 1 turze 1 unit wrozkowy. upierdliwe, ale tez wrozki nie sa T1 wiec to nie jest powod by wkladac do decka.

za to wkufia mnie czyszczenie discarda - ograniczamy draw ale za to damy wam dyscypliny ktore to rekompensuja.
za to teraz wydajemy wam karte ktora dyscyplinom mowi "spie$%^&"

dopiero oba efekty powoduja ze karta jest "pfe".
do tego karty w IvE wydawane sa bardzo niechlujnie, VTD ktory mocno ingeruje w mechanike pokazuje jak bardzo kijowo opisywane sa kartony
